Greenhouse

Last week on Monday we made a Greenhouse for our pinto beans.We wetted the paper towel with the cotton balls in the plastic bag.And last we put the blue tape on all the sides of the greenhouse.And on Tuesday the Greenhouses were on the windows in the classroom.

I was learning to add numbers with coins It was easy to do the cents coin and dollar coin. We put the coins and we type the numbers. The dollar sign goes before the number.

I was learning to make connections of the story and I was thinking about someone about the same. It was hard because I had to write what the question said and what I had played.

speed and Agility

On Tuesday we went to field for Youth town.Then we played a few games one was Agility poles the other was cat and mouse. I liked the poles the best because we had to run up to the obstacles.

It was easy to do the closer part but it was confusing when I got to the 35 closer part but someone helped me finish it.

Andy's nest

We went outside to get some twigs and leaves for our

nest and egg.I decided to use four twigs and leaves for my nest and

egg then we went inside to continue our nest.

I made a green finch bird mask and we learning about the birds for conservation week.

I was learning to write and read words with apostrophes. I can use one when a person has something. It was easy for me because I was reading it.

I learnt how to use speech marks it was hard. It was a little bit hard.

I was learning to add in any order. I was looking at the numbers and then adding them. It was very easy for me to do.

It was easy to write the words because it was easy to do all of the different words.

Multiplication arrays

I was learning to multiply in arrays.I can do it when I skip count. It was a bit tricky and easy.

Baking ANZAC biscuits.

Today we made  ANZAC  biscuits . I got to scoop the sugar and put it in the bowl. I mixed all the the food in the bowl and then other people had a turn. We all ate one after that. It was yummy. I felt good about he baking.

I was learning to find dgraph th. I can do start midle end of words. It was tricky for some of them

Maths: find place value

I was learning to find place values in numbers .

I learnt how to match the cubes to the numbers.

It was easy to match the words to the numbers.

Reading: retelling the story

I was learning to retell the story. I can say what happens at the start and middle and end. It is easy to say what happens now.

spelling:short vowel sounds

I was learning to find words with the short vowel sounds. I learnt the short 'i' sound. It was easy to do the short 'a' because I have that in my name.

Water skills:Kicking

I was learning to kick with my legs while my hands were on the bar. I think I am getting better.
