My reflection
I have been learning to write a narrative. A narrative is a made up story.
I really enjoyed the whole thing.
Something I found challenging was using paragraphs.
My next step is to us paragraphs more.

I am learning to relate to the characters in the text to understand their purpose.
I found this easy because I can say the action and then the consequence.
My next step is to describe and explain character traits with examples from the text.

I was able to write a time I went to sea life in the holidays.
I found this easy because it didn't take very long.
My next step is to write more interesting sentences.

I am learning to put lines of symmetry trough the alphabet.
I found this easy because I knew how easily how to do it.
My next step is to look more carefully.

My Speech 2019

My Reflection

I am learning to write a persuasive speech.
I found the main body challenging because you have to think what you want to write about.
Something I learn't is that not just the air pollution is bad but the water pollution is bad too.
I found it scary to present my speech to the whole class but I felt good after I did it.
My next step is to use PEEL paragraphs.

Something I did well is using my own words and making it long.
I found this easy because I had remembered the story and re right it using my own words.

We have been learning about Matariki.
I found this work interesting because I had a hard time getting the right websites that gave me the information I need to write in this presentation.
I now know more facts and legend of Matariki now.

I am to write information reports about Gisborne.
I was able to write all about Gisborne in this document.
I found this easy because I got help from other people.

My next step is to try do it on my own.

I have been learning to use expression when I read out loud.
We read a play called 'Robin Hood and the silver trophy.'
I think I used good expression
I found this easy because we had to be loud and I like being loud and my expression is loud and good.
My next step is to slow down when reading because I'm reading to fast for the person watching.

My reflection
I have been learning to write a variety of sentences to use in my stories to make them more interesting for my readers.
My favourite sentences type was the short sentences because it was five or less words.
A sentences I found tricky was the two word sentences because it was hard to find a short sentences.
My next step is to use a vanely of interesting sentences in my writing.

I am learning to find out about famous new Zealanders on the new Zealand dollar bill.
I was able to garter information from websites to get this information.
I found this challenging because i had to find the websites that give me the information.
My next step is to find better information.

Statistical Investigation

My Reflection
I have been learning to use the Statistical enquiry cycle to carry out an Investigation. My Investigation was was to find out other people's favourite dinosaur
I was surprised that there was a tie with the Tyrannosaurus and the Compsognathus.
I found asking people the most challenging part because you might ask the same person twice.
I know now how to collect data. 
I'm not sure about who is the favourite dinosaur Tyrannosaurus or the Compsognathus.
My next step is to do a bigger Investigation with more people.
